For those asking "What's the big deal?" when it comes to PEDs in the NBA, let me ask another question.
Have you ever had the experience of watching your team come up against an impossibly-athletic player, say, in the Eastern Conference playoffs, and wonder if the outcome of the game or series was influenced by said player being on something? Do you just say "oh well" and move on? Or does it frustrate you that the outcomes in sports aren't determined by things like effort, skill, and teamwork, but rather by who's got the best doctor or who's willing to sacrifice more of their liver and kidney health in their old age?
Sport should not be this way. I'm not sure which I'm more outraged by: the utter lack of discussion of this in sports media, or the apathy on the part of fans.
