And Jokic, he's like a reincarnation of Larry Bird. He does everything. He's amazing.

Love ya, Pop....but come talk to me once Jokic gets at LEAST ONE NBA 2nd Team Defense. (Larry got THREE during his storied career).

Now - Jokic is NOT bad defensively - but he CAN improve...and SHOULD improve - being that he's lost some weight.

Work on that DEFENSE, Young Larry.

Has anyone seen what the tiebreaker scenario is for the play-in game (if two or more teams tie for the 9th spot, or 3 teams tie for 8th)?  It seems pretty safe to say that there will be a play in game in the West at this point.

Yup

Semi-double elimination, meaning the 9th place team must beat the 8th place team twice, but the 8th place team need only beat the 9th place team once.

Sorry, I just realized that this does not answer your question.  I have no clue!!

It's still early in his development but Michael Porter Jr is looking VERY good....he and Jokic are looking like World Beaters together.

Yet ANOTHER potential star to gum stuff up out west for LAL.

I was hoping we'd be the team to take a chance on MPJ's health.  He's made of glass and I understand why we didn't, but the talent is undeniable.  Dude can ball.

He went 14 to Denver. We had the 27th pick RW3.

Trades exist.

Who would you have offered for the 14th pick that would have realistically been accepted back then?

Oh yikes. Simmons out indefinitely now.

There'll probably a clearer timeline on this over the next 24 hours according to Brett Brown, but it seems most people are saying this could be anywhere from a 3 week to 6 week injury

After trading up in the past to draft Olynyk while passing up on Giannis, I can't blame Ainge for not trying to trade up a few spots again.

At least Langford looked really good last night.

Bucks are getting blown out by the Heat so far today. We did a much better job against the Heat despite our loss.

If Tatum hadn't played the worst game of his NBA career we would have beaten the Bucks in game 1 of the bubble. I don't fear them. Toronto is a tougher opponent imo.

MIA defending Greek Freak well...making it hard for him.

They're building a wall against him on the fast breaks.

And Bam Adebayo is the Real Deal. Love that dude.

My NEW under-25 All-Future Team:

PG - Luka
SG - Jaylen Brown
SF - Jayson Tatum / MP Jr.
PF - Bam Adebayo / Zion / MP Jr.
C - DeAndre Ayton

EDIT - forgot all about Zion.

IMPRESSIVE come-from-behind victory by MIL.

I thought MIA had them buried.

MIL showed True Grit with this win.

And my man Bam ended up having a not-so-good game.

Porzingis seems to finally be starting to reach his potential. Punishing teams inside, threat from 3, defensive presence. Even his rebounding is improving

Yeah, with that Heat loss and Pacers loss tonight, we just about wrapped up the #3 seed. Pacers and Sixers are pretty much deadlocked for the #6 seed.

They both also need to work on their shooting accuracy too.  Both are at 31% from 3 this season.  Bird was over 40% once he increased his volume.

What the performance of Jokic and Doncic suggest is how dominant Bird would be today.
