A sexist? I mean yeah those words a bit much? But let's not go around accusing everyone a sexist in the heat of the moment?

He may not be a sexist in that perhaps he was making a regrettable joke or didn’t realize what he was blurting out or maybe does many things that are the antithesis of sexist. But in all honesty, I think it’s hard to deny that his comments were sexist in nature.  You can make sexist comments and not be a terrible person.  But pointing out that the comments were sexist isn’t wrong.

Point out that it's wrong but to call a person sexist is a bit much considering the internet's obsession with cancel culture.

That's funny.  Heat of the moment is what he blamed it on.  Problem is heat of the moment reveals a person's true character.

We all say things that we regret, that doesn't make us bad people or "reveal our true character" otherwise we might as well be all racist and sexists.

I agree, I don't think Mook intended to be sexist. He was probably trying to illustrate that Jae was soft and made a poor choice of words. Bit like saying "it's a man's game" or "grow a pair" - is that sexist? Don't think so. But it's probably a term that would have been fine maybe 10, 20 years ago but today is not seen as appropriate. But that's just my 2c, I'm sure others see it differently.

Anyway, back to the game - I'll go out on a limb and say that I don't think there was anything wrong with Crowder taking that shot. Likewise I don't have a problem with the flagrant 2. If you wanna respect the game, then defend the guy and make sure he doesn't get the shot off. Or don't get yourself in a position where the opposition has to decide whether they feel sorry enough for you to take pity on you and not run up the score. This is professional basketball, these guys are getting paid millions. It's not Sierra Canyon High School vs some overmatched scrubs.

Explicitly linking negative qualities with being female is sexist as hell, sorry to anyone offended by this but I'm just telling it like it is.

Payton's play was also dirty as hell which is a lot more immediately dangerous, lucky for him Morris drew some of the heat off him.

Elfrid Payton and Jae Crowder got into it with 48 secs left. Crowder was pushed by Payton while attempting a 3 iirc. Morris pushed Morant

That was a dirty play by Payton.  Dangerous too.

I wonder whatever happened to that poster who was obsessed with Payton and would always disparage Smart and insist the Celtics blew it not taking Payton.

Trae Young is a special offensive force but the guy on that team that, to me, screams out "I SHOULD BE A CELTIC!" is John Collins.

Agree about Collins though. He’s a good rebounder who can score from wherever, but doesn’t really need the ball. Plus his defence has improved. If he were here and Theis + Kanter were on the bench I think we raise #18 this year or next.

Of all the years for the C's not to have a mid first round pick or two, it had to be 2017.  I mean, we got Tatum so it's cool, but it seems like the team always has a pick in that range:

2010: #19
2012: #21, #22
2013: #16
2014: #17
2015: #16
2016: #16, #23
2019: #14, #20, #22
2020: #17, #23 (projected)

Now sure Danny's missed a lot of gems in that range, and no guarantee they would have picked him, but Collins seems like a guy who could have been an Ainge pick.

Yup, he has the DNA of an Ainge pick...long, athletic, versatile defensively and offensively, excellent motor and drive, seemingly intelligent, very coachable.
