This seems overblown.  I mean what if 100 times he was acknowledged but twice he wasn't?   What if Kyrie had headphones on and didn't hear him?  What if Kyrie just wasn't in the mood for small talk?  So many things that could make this not be a big deal at all.
Mike wouldn’t mention anything if Irving had headphones on or acknowledged him 98% of the time.  Isn’t that obvious?
Yeah, really don't think Mike is the guy to tell a story like that

I'm glad he's gone.

The one thing that made me begin to question Kyrie's commitment to the C's was when he apparently decided to have some surgery (which I believe wasn't even for an injury) around the same time the C's were playing the Cavs in the ECF (which went to Game 7 where Hayward was there, but Kyrie wasn't). Like really? Of all the times, you choose that time...

Then of course, everything that's happened since.

Whatever. On to 2019-2020. Maybe our expectations aren't as high as last season, but I can't wait to watch the team win a lot of games and have fun in doing so. Being a likable team.

I called attention to that at the time but a lot of people thought it was overblown. These NBA players, all of them, are so overblown. I believe they should show up for work (games) to support their teammates even when they cannot play because of injury as long as it does not impede their recovery. They are paid enough money to show up for work when they are physical able.

For all the stuff I’ve heard now it seems to me Kyrie might actually be mildly Autistic. The strange lack of social interaction
, his known love of always dribbling the ball his whole life (repetitive behaviour), him being very impulsive (I’m coming back), unaware of others emotions.

TP, Kyrie is a different kind of person.

Classless but unsurprising sadly. I tried my best to like him, I really did.
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

No I don't think it is obvious.  I'm sure him and Kyrie didn't talk much, but for as much as they travel, I don't think they got on the elevator only 2 times together either.

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

I really enjoyed some of your posts about Irving's game on the court so I'm surprised at your position on this.  Maybe you are trying to prove reasonable doubt like a lawyer, but come on... look at the two parties involved.  One has serious issues and one is incredibly respected and non ego driven.  Mike wouldn't say anything if there was nothing interesting to say.

Lets say Antonio Brown and Tom Brady had different takes on the way something went down while Brown was a Patriot... something tells me that you would be trying to find a way to take Brown's side on the issue, while 99% of the people wouldn't even have to think about it.  The history of the people involved matter.

Mike said Kyrie exchanges 10 words in two years, so I think your hypotheticals are way off.  Plus, Mike isn’t the type to make this a story if this wasn’t out of the ordinary.

That shouldn’t be a baseline as many people are introverted.  However, saying that it’s obviously not the case with Kyrie as he has no trouble speaking his mind.

People are making introverts sound like extreme agoraphobes. When somebody you see every day says hello, you say hello back, or you nod, or wave, or something. You don’t just keep walking.

Not unless you're full of yourself and think your Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. don't stink.  Just ask Cryee, he'll tell ya.  That "flat earth" thing?   If it rotated it would rotate around him.

Or if you have autism and simply don’t understand social interactions. It’s enough to say he didn’t do a good job of leading the team. We don’t need to make him into a bad guy.

He doesn’t have autism, he doesn’t have Aspergers, he’s not on the autism spectrum.

He’s just self-centered.

How do you know this? Even an expert can’t diagnose someone without testing them. I’m not saying he does have autism, but I think it is possible.
