  • GOT IT!!!
No flow to the Celtic offense. No looking for the open shooter. No point guard. It's just "my turn to go one on one."

We're lucky the 76ers are struggling too.

I won’t be able to stomach another season of that. That’s on the coach and has to change this year.

23-13 lead in FTA for Phili. Buts that tooo be expected given their size advantage. 4-16 from 3 for C's, 2-14 for phili.

Well, these last couple pages have reminded me why I stopped going on game threads last year. It's a one point game and 90% of posts are just trashing the team

Nah,just trashing Tatum, and he deserves it. He needs to play better, not shoot better, play better.
If he plays well he won't get trashed. If he stuggles, but plays within a team concept I won't trash him. When he insists on taking and missing shot after shot when he's got all star talent around him - then I have a huge problem with that.

Tatum basically shot us out of the lead. He’s trying too hard they need to tell him to settle down we don’t need another Kyrie

They??? Who is they?

His teammates and coaches. They need to slap him in the face and remind him there’s 4 other people on the court along with him

Down 1 at half but I already like watching this team a whole heck of a lot more than last year's team.
yes, this team is fun and plays a lot harder, especially on defense. they should win this game once their shooting turns around.

i guess i am a bit surprised at how poor philly is after embiid, simmons, and al. quite a drop off.

Hayward needs to let his points come from his ability to facilitate. At this point he's the best passer this team has. Someone has to create motion, make the defense move, and then look for the easy basket for others.

Kanter trash

did not see trash from his first half. Maybe its the wine but he held his own on Big E

I thought he had a solid game, Brad tried to come up with a game plan that minimized his defensive limitations

Still hoping for a better shooting half.

Absolute jokes of refs. Pure incompetence to miss that Kemba foul at the end of the half.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

against embiid the plan seems to be to have kaner play him close and then double team so that kanter doesnt have to move his feet. it works so far.

C's can still take this game if they get their heads out of their butts on offense.  end of the second quarter was awful

It's the first game of the season.

If Celtic fans are frustrated, imagine how the Sixer fans are feeling right now.
Sixers are expected to be in the east finals or finals and look at their team, they can't make 3s!
