I'm not confident that the C''s will win tonight, but I am really liking this team.  Rookies all seem to belong (and Bob).  Jayson looks poised to take the leap. Want to see more from Gordon in the 2nd half.

Kanter played well in the first half, and Robert Williams had some excellent moments. Not bad for our big men against Embiid and Horford.

Well, these last couple pages have reminded me why I stopped going on game threads last year. It's a one point game and 90% of posts are just trashing the team
not me. i praised their defense and held out hope for better shooting since they are getting open shots.

i hope that earns me at least few tps.  ;D

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Kyrie may be gone, but Tatum's dumb iso-game and shot selection don't seem to be

neither does the Coach's refusal to rein him in.

That's part of the learning curve.

It's not like Tatum is a 5-year veteran.

Also Celtics played 12 guys. Hard t tell if thats in part because Brown had foul trouble, or if Bard is using this as an  extended preseason to figure out the rotations. Thought Timelord did good stuff.

Every single year Brad has used the forst couple of months to experiment with lineups/rotations. Playing 12 guys is a lot, but not really that unexpected
I'm bitter.

Nah,just trashing Tatum, and he deserves it. He needs to play better, not shoot better, play better.

True.

It's Kemba, Hayward, and Tatum that needs to step up.

Jaylen already has 4 fouls, so his minutes is going to be limited.

No flow to the Celtic offense. No looking for the open shooter. No point guard. It's just "my turn to go one on one."

We're lucky the 76ers are struggling too.

You guys can trash Tatum all you want, but Tatum is the future of this franchise.

Yeah, Kanter was fine, not great, but he was solid. He had one bad move I saw against Embiid were he didn't make a quick decision, but over all decent.

If he plays well he won't get trashed. If he stuggles, but plays within a team concept I won't trash him. When he insists on taking and missing shot after shot when he's got all star talent around him - then I have a huge problem with that.

Down 1 at half but I already like watching this team a whole heck of a lot more than last year's team.
