It's not ring chasing if they 1. paid you more and 2. offered you a role you preferred (PF instead of C in this case)

Can’t really blame him...he thought he would have to play with Kyrie again, plus Philly offered him a lot more. The thought of having to play with Kyrie again was Roosevelt enough to make anyone leave
