Celtics (1-0) at Magic (3-0) Preseason Game #2 10/11/19

Jaylen player of the game. Man he looked great on both sides of the ball.

For me it's Marcus Smart.

His 4 triples in the 1st half put the game away.

But Jaylen Brown was very good in this game.

I know it is pre season but waning confidence in Robert Williams. Just seems like he has zero defensive/basketball IQ.

Good to see Gordo with some nice hops tonight.

Waters reminds me of Larkin the way he completes and runs the change of pace offense.

From what I saw, the two best players on the court were Jason Tatum and Jaylen Brown.

Brown continuing his top play from playoffs last year. They're going to have to pay him at this rate.

Thought R Williams was quite good in limited minutes. Just needs to cut down on fouls. Defended well. Rebounded well. Made some nice passes. Looked more comfortable.

Just woke up! How did we do?

We did great!

Starters Smart, Brown, Tatum, Hayward, and Theis got the Celts an early lead and never looked back.

Nice! If the Theis man has regained his rookie season bounce I'm all in for him starting. Just not hot on him starting if he still hasn't regained his explosiveness after the meniscus tear.

It was excellent tonight, a number of good drive and dish passes by Jaylen.  Everyone moved the ball well in the 1st half.

From the get-go our starting group looked really awesome. In the first half I thought Brown, Smart, Hayward and Theis were really awesome. Tatum missed a few jumpers and forced a couple more, but even he was pretty good.

Having Theis in the starting lineup had quite a significant impact on our defence. Not good signs from R Williams. Thankfully our other Williams looks like a good pickup!

That's great! Any high leverage passes like this? Obviously not on that level but I meant passes that exploit gaps in the defense like this for easy layups instead of just making an easy read.

Poirier seemed okay in game 1. Not setting the world on fire, but moved his feet and got to where he was supposed to be. If Rob Williams had Poirier’s court awareness he’d be well on his way to becoming an nba starter.
