Max Strus signing doesn't make any sense

He's not even drafted nor he have euroleague experience yet he already have a 2-way spot. Javonte Green and Tacko Fall looks better so far based on the preseason game and Summer League yet they have to grind their way for a team spot.

I think Danny jumped into the gun too early with this move. But its not like he can't waive him but so far he's alright. Both Tacko and Green are impressive, he's only alright.

I've seen many hyped shooters who are already out of the league or at the deep end of the roster. Jimmer Freddette, Adam Morrison, Ben McLemore, Nik Stauskas, etc. Even our own RJ Hunter and James Young were one of them.

Nothing against Strus but he haven't shown anything he deserve it over Tacko or Green yet.

The financial cost to cut Strus and sign Tacko or Green to a 2-way is next to nothing. If come time to set the roster Danny would rather keep Tacko or Green over Strus, Strus will be cut, regardless if he is already signed.

Gerald Green also took over half a decade to be a rotation-worthy NBA player, and Strus isn't ⅓ the athlete Green is/was.

The NBA has become a
3 point shooting league. Max naturally shoots 3's well. Why would the Celtics get rid of him?

If you think Strus is the next Gerald Green that's all good, I just don't see him as a better player now than Green, nor a better prospect than Fall.

Signing an undrafted rookie for a need don't bode well. You always take the BPA whether they are undrafted or not. And I don't think he's a BPA over Tacko and Green. Didn't we drafted James Young over Jokic and RJ Hunter over Montrelz Harrell for the same reason?

Strus is a good player with potential.

I don't think Ainge made a mistake.

If the objective is to keep Tacko and Javonte, it can be done by trading Semi.

Tacko gets the 15th spot and Javonte gets the spot of Semi.

TP....I like this idea, and I like Strus.

 He showed a little in summer league, but not his full potential because he was recovering from a plantar fascia injury.

He can shoot and bang for his position,  and he doesn’t back down.

He is different from Young and Hunter in that he is big and strong and tough, and he is a better shooter than they are.

Crowd starts with the "Struuuuuuuus!"

That's why he has a two way.

That Javonte Green is a monster. Don't see Max knocking off Javonte any time soon.
