Thanks for posting. I hadn’t seen it either.
My pleasure.
Thought it was funny that there was no mention of it on here. Normally it gets some play in the forums.
Some notable quotes/takeaways:
RW III: “I gotta embrace it. I gotta be the Time Lord.”
Poirier: (maybe our next Baynes) “I do the dirty work...I set hard screens, I run the floor, block shots.”
Love Poirier’s attitude too. When asked about teammate Daniel Theis and FIBA games and if they socialized, he said no, saying you play the games and after the game you don’t want to go up and be his friend. Guy’s competitive and doesn’t want to like his opponents...refreshing in this day of buddy-buddy crap. Think he has a mean streak we need.
The leader of the team may be Smart, but the leader of the large rookie contingent is definitely Grant Williams who was mentioned by every rookie and some vets......seems like the ultimate glue guy.
Jaylen seems to have matured substantially and learned a lot from last year. It’s hard to believe this is really his fourth year.
