After 10 rounds, the Philadelphia 76ers are looking like:

Jason Kidd / Tiny Archibald
Paul Pierce / Sidney Moncrief
Larry Bird / Mark Aguirre
Karl Malone / Jerry Lucas
Patrick Ewing / Bob Lanier

I'm really happy with how my team is shaping up. I think Lanier and Aguirre were both good fits and quite close to the BPA. Anyone have any thoughts / criticisms?

It depends on the season for Pierce, when he got bigger and drove more and got to the line there is no way he could guard SG’s.

Yeah, that's definitely true. I think I'm leaning towards one of his earlier seasons (the one where he averaged 8FTA a game and 40% from deep), but not too sure. Luckily I have a pretty solid defender in Moncrief to help out depending on matchup

Pierce got to the line a ton as a SG, and was a very good defender there.  He started playing SF for the most part in 2005, but as late as 2007 he actually played more SG than SF.

ANNOUNCEMENT

As we have reached the end of the 10th round, most teams rotations are probably in place. So why not open up the "How Does My Team Look" thread. For this weekend here are a few rules for the thread:

1. To participate, you must have your first post in the thread be a look at your roster, rotation and brief synopsys of how you see your team working.

2. Thereafter, pick a team you want to critique and do so in a positive/constructive criticism type way.

3. Do not compare the team to your team or any other team. Do not compare players on that team to players on your team or any other.

4. If someone spends time critiquing your team you are obligated to critique their team.

5. Non-participants are welcome, but all non-participants are expected to abide by Rules 2 and 3.

EDIT: Please just use this thread as a thread to put players and picks on the trading block once the other thread goes up. And have a great holiday weekend.

Big E starts at PF, for now, I still need to figure that position out, as both Al and E has strengths and weaknesses. But this is how we would line up for the time being.

Define very good.

I know you like PP, as do I, but statistically he was an average defender at SG and in 2007 when he returned their for the first time since 2004 he was a bad defender by all statistics.  2002-2003 was Pierce’s best defensive season against SG’s but then you have to factor in the character issues of younger Pierce.

I really don’t want to continue this discussion as Pierce is one of my favorite players so it pains me to give an accurate critique of him.
