I know most won’t care, but the Lakers have such a strange roster that can go so many ways, it is hard to find a consensus five.

Roster:

- Kostas Antetokounmpo
- Avery Bradley
- Kentavious Caldwell-Pope
- Alex Caruso
- Quinn Cook
- DeMarcus Cousins
- Troy Daniels
- Anthony Davis
- Jared Dudley
- Danny Green
- Talen Horton-Tucker
- LeBron James
- Kyle Kuzma
- JaVale McGee
- Rajon Rondo

Bradley

Offensively Lebron plays PG; Bradley covers PGs on defense.

If Boogie gets his mobility back, he’s an option to start.

I was thinking of something similar but I am not sure LeBron would buy in defensively against power forwards and Kuzma isn’t big enough or defensively minded to cover for him. I remember Miami Heat brought in Battier for that exact reason.

When the hell did the Lakers get Avery?

That is the first sign for me that this could actually go well. Expect a huge comeback year from Avery.

I have a feeling that it’s going to be

McGee
Davis
James
Green
Rondo

I just think this because LeBron is a slow pace style player, very similar to Rondo and they will like playing with each other because of mutual IQ respect and Rondo ego will be removed because he knows LeBron is superior.

LeBron, AB, Green, AD, McGee.
They could switch Kuzma in for McGee against smaller teams, and possibly Cousins if they need creation to support LeBron and AD.

Kind of a big slow line up but I think:

Starters
Avery Bradley
Danny Green
LeBron James
Anthony Davis
DeMarcus Cousins

Bench
Rajon Rondo
Alex Caruso
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope
JaVale McGee
Kyle Kuzma
