I'm niave to over seas ball. Is Turkey a desirable place to play if you can't be in the NBA?
Someone versed in non NBA pro ball should fill is in unless this is 10000% money driven
Turkey is probably the #3 basketball league in Europe, behind Spain and Russia. They pay well, and players can definitely come back to the US from Turkey (for example, Bead Wanamaker played in Turkey immediately before joining the Celtics). His team is not playing in the EuroCup this year, which is a bit of a downer, but playing in Turkey is not a terrible gig.
