He’s too busy splashing on CP-3 and Beal.

There’s an ESPN video of them going one-on-one. Tatum is showing off some moves to get Separation and taking it to the rim. He doesn’t stop anyone on defense, but these are offensive highlights, and he’s keeping his hands up and staying engaged and in front of guards, which is a big improvement from last year if he can play like that in a real game.

Well it looks like Tatum heard Simmons podcast because he’s all over social media today with his New Era Celtics hats

If we start microscoping every Tatum move over the next two years, it will not be long before he pulls a Davis or Cleveland Kyrie and demands out.

I think some people need a scapegoat yearly and now we have Hayward or Brown or Tatum or a few to take the place of Kyrie. Give the kid a break and try to enjoy just how good he has been at such a young age.

I thought we would be done with he is unhappy and lets trade  those player for a bag of marbles threads but here we are.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know how many good free agents not drafted by us we have signed that when their contract ran out , they resigned with us? I am drawing a big blank. Eventually there comes a time when we need to look in the mirror.

We best not chase our young stars out of Boston. That is all I am going to say cause this story is getting old.

Honestly? Its time to stop treating these players like babies. This is what they signed for. This is why they make big money. Man UP.

Kemba is not shot happy, that would be the former Boston point guard. I watched him throughout college and he made others around him better. Now in Carolina that was hard, with the little talent they had, so he did more. He will fit in well here and make others around him happy.

Quote

On the most recent Bill Simmons Podcast a listener wrote in with a seriously interesting observation, since the season has ended Jayson Tatum has not posted or shared any connection with current Celtics. There was no congratulations for any of our incoming rookies nor welcome to the Celtics for Kemba or Kanter...but there was tweets for Rozier getting his money elsewhere and Morris signing with Knicks.

This guy needs to get a life, holy stalker. This is Fake News

18 shots a game in college (only 43% FG%).
Another 7.7 FTAs a game.
Against 4.5apg.

He is what he is. A score-first PG.

There is nothing wrong with that.

Let's not try to make him something he is not. He is what he is and we need to accept that. And we need to understand how best to build a team around this type of a PG. And stop pretending he is going to be something he is not.

At least he won't chuck 30 shots like a certain saboteur did when he's ice cold in the playoffs.

  • Yup

Ahhhhhh.....the favorite pastime of modern society....judging how a person might have an opinion on something based on social media posts.

Or what he doesn’t post.  He never posts about baby elephants.  Clearly an elephant hater.

Yup

Will see how it goes.

...in any case; we should find out more about Tatum this 3rd season.  Is he an Andrew Wiggins? or a keeper?

3rd year is telling if you have a "low motor" player or not.

The thing about your question is that if you sign a big free agent that you didn't draft that usually means you're giving that guy his last big deal.  So it often doesnt make sense to re-sign the guy. That's basically what happened with Horford.

Kevin Garnett wasn't signed in free agency but he agreed to multi-year extensions with the team twice before he was traded.
