I'll mostly remember how much I enjoyed watching Isaiah Thomas's heroics and Al Horford's all around excellence.
I'll remember the 2018 playoff run, too.
I'm sure the 2018 "Year From Hell" will stand out in my memory too, but if you're asking how I will label this era of Celtics basketball in my head, I'll think of it as the Thomas / Horford era, with the last bit bleeding into the "Tatum & Brown" era.
First time poster on CelticsStrong, long time lurker (since the title run of '08, in fact, back when it was Celticsblog, so I feel I know many of you tho you don't know me, which is one of the weird effects of the Internet era): I feel strongly enough about IT to say that PhoSita's post sums it up, for me, at least. I will remember this era as what could have been, tho that in no way detracts from IT's heroics (in fact it makes his heroics seem all the more so), nor does it make Horford's consistent excellence any less admirable, nor Hayward's injury & struggle any less tragic.
Though really I'd reserve that word for IT, who has been my favorite Celtic since KG & Pierce. He played like there was no tomorrow, and unfortunately we're in it. Though the Jays give me hope.
