Coach K enabled Allen's unacceptable behavior on the court at Duke. Shame on coach K. Also, Allen's egregious fouls last night should earn him some kind of reprimand from the NBA.

It took Coach K awhile before anything happened.  Allen has multiple incidents, and it was only after he was a repeat offender and it became a national media thing did he do anything.  He definitely helped enable Grayson.

Also, for those who didn’t see the game, Allen had a similar play in the first half to these two incidents, which picked him up a technical instead of a flagrant.  Dude is a moron and the NBA should suspend him for the rest of summer league.

It was Allen’s second flagrant foul and he was ejected, to the delight of many fans at Thomas & Mack.

Gw just smiles too. Grayson is lucky that he did get power slammed.

Williams got him a couple of times with some solid screens and rubs.

Williams knows how to get back in a normal basketball game, Grayson just swings at your head, shoves you, or trips you if you touch him.

Oh yeah, Williams went right back to the well with that back screen just five seconds after play resumed.  Very smart.  He knew Allen might respond.

we will see him on TV one day in handcuffs ...beating up his wife or kids or next door neighbor .   His brain chemistry is way off and he needs meds to control his actions .   My guess without meds , he'll be behind bars or institutionalized by 50 .  The odd looks on his face is not normal , frankly a bit scary .

Kid's a tool.  Seems to be whenever he gets flustered, his first instinct is to physically retaliate in a manner that crosses a boundary. 

He does that off the basketball court, he's gonna end up getting his butt kicked or getting himself in jail.

This episode makes me appreciate Marcus Smart even more. Why? Because based on everything in Smart's history that should have led him to be an angry, out-of-control, emotional basket case, he has somehow channeled everything in his past towards a determination to get better and play the right way. He has the occasional outburst -- that shove on Embiid from late in last year's regular season comes to mind -- but that has become the exception rather than the rule. Got to be impressed by Smart's self-discipline, given what he's endured in his life.
