Trey Lyles, Kenneth Faried & Tyson Chandler are still out there and hoping Celtics will get one of them..Enes Katner needs help upfront and we really need a proven big to help..Williams still unproven, Theis will get hurt and the french guy has not played. a minute in NBA

Lyles: be great in Brad system..he is young and fit nicely beside Tatum and Katner

Faried: is a terrific rebounder and defender which we badly need

Chandler: Be great backup to Katner and be great locker room guy to help young guys
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

Among those guys, I would favor Faried since he is an excellent defender whereas Kanter is not.  That's the biggest need up front.

Out of those 3 I pick Lyles.

Easily in fact.

Faried is an bad defender and has been for years. It's why he was in and out of the rotation in Denver. He looks like he should be able to switch and be a good help defender off ball, but he's just not good at any defensive stuff other than rebounding.

I don't love any of the three, I guess I'd probably say Faried? Lyles was so bad in Den after being pretty good the year before, I wonder if his injury issues are pretty bad.

He is now UFA, Denver rescinded the QO.

Yep, I'm not sure why people are saying he's a great defender.  Either of the other two guys would be decent additions.

I thought Lyles was finding his groove in Denver but I guess they made the decision to spend their money on a couple more years of Milsap instead.

Noah is an option. Played meaningful minutes last season. He could help with interior defense, which is a big concern.

He found a groove his first year, but last year his shot completely disappeared, with shooting 25% from 3 on a lot of attempts and had a 50% TS, which is Marcus Smart territory.  His rebounds also went down, his turnovers up, he got to the line a little less — he had a bad year and really made a mistake in not jumping on his QO the minute it was extended.

I like Trey Lyles. I remember being impressed with him back when he was in Utah.

Not a huge Faried fan.

I wouldn't mind Chandler as a back-up to Kanter and dumping Poirier. Would prefer someone who's more familiar with the NBA.

Sign me up for Chandler, great locker room presence and teammate.  Would be an amazing mentor for Robert Williams especially but also the other young players.
2019 historical draft.  Pick 12

Tim Duncan, Oscar Robertson, Elgin Baylor, Scottie Pippen, Willis Reed, Mitch Richmond, Sam Jones, Dan Majerle, Bob Cousy, Rasheed Wallace, Shawn Kemp, Marcus Camby
