I know it's summer league but he looks good
We passed on him to take Romeo (who I also like)

But NAW reminds me of BuddyHield / SGA /

Hoping we didn't make another mistake. We could have used a sharpshooter with good passing ability

He was my guy. I thought he'd be the perfect guard to come in and take all of Rozier's minutes. I don't know enough about Langford to be critical, but you're right, NAW looks the goods. However, Edwards and Williams both look like steals (or they are in my book, we'll see), so I'm not too fussed.

New Orleans have some good things going on with Hayes, NAW and fricken Zion

The passes are what really surprised me. Sudden, sharp, bullet passes. Pelicans have so much talent it's scary.

Him and Hayes already have some chemistry. Sprinkle in Zion and Lonzo and you have an excitement machine

Yeah he was my guy at #14 in the Celtics draft picks thread. Langford could be really good, but if NAW is for real then the Langford pick had better be a resounding success.

I'm sooooo hoping the Pels surpass the Lakers in the next 2-3 years.  overly optimistic but that to me would be such sweet revenge for NO for the way AD and the Lakers treated them.

What if β€” now stay with me for a second. *slaps you in the face* Hey! I said pay attention! What if, the NBA draft is not a zero sum β€” hey! Eyes up here! β€” a zero sum game and Romeo AND NAW are both good?

Hey, Langford hasn't played any Summer League games for us to overrate ;D

NAW was number one on my draft board for our drafting position. He’s a perfect fit with Smart, Tatum, and Brown.

It's only SL for Cs, you knew that!  ;D
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

My final take on our draft picks. I'm very high on Nassir Little, I think he has All Star potential. So if we can pick him (or by trading up in the draft) I'm all for it. There are a lot of good big men in this draft i.m.o., so it would be nice to get one. Bazley could also have enormous potential, but is a risky pick.

In a perfect draft for us (according to me at least), the Celtics picks would be like this:

#14 Nassir Little (BPA)
#20 Matisse Thybulle (or Nickeil Alexander-Walker if still available)
#22 Bruno Fernando (or Goga Bitadze if still available)

I was quite high on NAW as well (as my quoted post proves). I preferred Little, although he has been disappointing so far. But if we passed on him my pick would have been Nickeil Alexander-Walker. I was upset when we picked Langford and I'm still not okay with it.

You must have been away for the summer. All that you see on this site is glowing praise about the C's rookies based on summer league. Most already have given major minutes to Williams. But we can't have praise for a rookie that Ainge may have missed on?
