The Warriors have waived veteran guard Shaun Livingston, reports ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski

According to Wojnarowski, Livingston is determined to continue his playing career after being cut by Golden State. He’ll clear waivers later this week and will likely be prioritizing contending teams as he seeks a new NBA home.

A member of the Warriors teams that have reached the NBA Finals in each of the last five years, Livingston played a regular rotation role in Golden State, averaging between 15.1 and 19.5 minutes per game in each season since 2014/15. He recorded 4.0 PPG, 1.8 APG, and 1.8 RPG in 64 games in 2018/19.

no he is cooked.

He had that great year with the Clips before he shattered his leg. He was never the same. But I'm glad he got to play for a title in the back half of his career. I loved his jangly game prior to the injury. It felt like he was going to single-handedly make that franchise relevant.

Call it the curse of Donald Sterling.

I thought he’s been pretty trash for awhile. Never reached his potential after the injury. Overrated piece of the Warriors dynasty only because they had such little depth.

Guys who play the 4 either as a stretch 4 or a traditional 4 seem like a bigger need to me.
