Is there a bit more NBA parity now?

Just thinking, a few years back after KD went to GSW, we all knew that the championship ran thru GS. Now that KD, has moved back East and a few teams get reshuffled by moving players, doesn't it seem like the at least night in and night out that unless you are clearly not playing for 2019-2020 and you have SOME sort of a chance to go far in the playoffs?

Minnesota Timberwolves     
New York Knicks     
Washington Wizards
Detroit Pistons         
Charlotte Hornets     
Chicago Bulls
Cleveland Cavaliers

I honestly think Detroit could even get to the second round if the injuries break their way, too

West is definitely more wide open as would be the potential champion, but I actually think the East is less open this year as I'd be pretty surprised (assuming health) if Milwaukee or Philadelphia isn't in the Finals when last year there were far more teams that could have reasonably gotten there if things broke right for them.
