I'll still miss Kyrie BUT I'm glad we picked up Kemba and Enes.

I believe the NBA will try to sleep on BOS and it will be a HUGE mistake next season.

Nick Wright is a clown. Mannix is a national media puppet. When Mannix said that the Celtics strength was in their frontcourt in Horford and Baynes...  :o Done with Mannix.

Are front Court was a weakness then as it is a weakness now don't try to tell me that it was our biggest strength.

Good on Kanter.

There was a story of two sides of Kanter last season

1. Knicks.  Which was a G league team.  It's not like Kanter can carry such team to anywhere. And unfortunately his play also suffered.  Lack of excitement nor extra effort

2. Blazers. Especially in the playoffs, he was on turbo mode.  He was quicker, extra effort... you can tell playing on a better team, he was also able to raise his game

Hopefully we get the #2 version.  But I don't want to hear him complain if he comes off the bench or doesn't get the mins/touches he is looking for.  If his goal is to win games while contributing to the team what he can.... I like the fit and the contract is a crazy value

So many things go over my head these days, especially when Twitter is involved. I don’t get what Kanter did there.

Basically - some guy named Nick Wright (never heard of him) seemingly disrespects BOS due to us not getting AD. He - instead - mentions that we are left with Kemba, Kanter and Tatum.

Dude makes no mention of GH's probable return to prominence, JB's rise and the overall FIT and VIBE in BOS with Kyrie gone.

It seems BETTER already - with Kyrie gone. And I'm a perennial Kyrie apologist.

Nick Wright  - to ME - fits the mold of seemingly many sportscasters nowadays that want to ignore BOS and appear to jump on the Laker bandwagon.

BOS isn't dead but it seems as if some in the media is crowning LA with Banner 17 already.

Nick appears - to ME - to be an LA arse-kisser - OR - to better word it - HEAVILY-Favored towards LA.

With Nick's tweet, I get the overall vibe that IF Boston had acquired AD we would've been picked apart from the beginning...

The narrative - I believe - would've been - "Who is BOS going to surround AD with? An aging Al Horford? GH? Will GH even return to normal?"

While - in Lakerville - NO sportscaster is picking apart THEIR roster....LeBron's advancing age...AD's injury history....the complete and UTTER lack of depth (so far)....

I just want NON-BIASED NBA Analysis. Right now, there are TOO MANY "Sauces"...band-wagon analysts......Look - if BOS's stuff stinks then go ahead - rip us apart.

But do NOT tell me that the Lakers are going to have a cakewalk to the Finals. Just STOP it.

Good on Kanter.

Horford + Baynes EASILY was better than when we had Sully/Zeller/Amir and others lol.

I just wish Baynes was healthier last season. That was our real issue. After Horford, the depth was just thin and then Baynes was limited again due to injury in the Bucks series. Timelord wasn't ready last season too.

I'll miss Big Al and still would have loved him back.

Just depressing that idiots like Nick Wright get paid that much to just say dumb things. I went into the wrong profession.

I don't like Nick Wright at all, but he's not wrong.
Agree with you.  Kanter's tweet was funny though.  There has been a lot of talk lately of Boston fans being jerks and driving Kyrie away.  I don't agree with that.  But I do think that a lot of Celticsstrong posters have Kevin Durant level thin skin when any media person does what he's paid to do and gives his opinion.  Whether it's the perceived slighting of anything Boston or praise of any rival, almost all of the media people on tv are slammed on this blog.

Maybe they just disagree with the hyperbolic response by the person. Nothing wrong with Kanter talking back.

It's all good, I would rather fly under the radar and have zero expectation from the media than have our every stumble be scrutinized like it was last year.
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

I'm culturally illiterate and don't know who Nick Wright is.

Should I google him or am I better off not knowing?
