You can't sign 3 starting caliber guards to $400 million. It makes no sense

I think klay is gone

Klays not going anywhere. The Durant deal must have been a sign and trade.
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

Russell helps while Klay heals up I guess .

Interesting team , i doubt they can beat the Lakers , highly doubt ,  in playoff arena .   GS could win all the reg season games and be destroyed in half court offense by lakers in playoffs

Such an odd fit for the Warriors. Can you even play D'angelo, Klay, and Steph at the same time? Unless Klay is as good as gone.

PG: Dennis Johnson / Jo Jo White / Stephon Marbury
SG: Sidney Moncrief / World B. Free

Klay can play at the small forward spot.

More like Kawhi to Lakers.

Kawhi is biggest prize in the free agency market and he is milking it. I wonder what he does!!!!

klay is a better 2 than he is a 3. I don't think he can switch and defend the 4

And Russell is a better 1 than he is a 2. He needs the ball in his hands

It just not maximizing their talent

how do you play all 3
I don't think it will work very well.

If next year is a reset year for the Dubs maybe they decided to get him to have an asset to trade later.
that's what i was thinking. They'll probably wait for an opportunity to open and sign an actual small forward that becomes available

The Golden State Warriors will acquire D'Angelo Russell in a sign-and-trade with the Brooklyn Nets, but he may not be a long-term part of their franchise.

"D'Angelo Russell does not fit there whatsoever," said Marc Stein of the New York Times on the Dan Patrick Show. "They just did not want to see Kevin Durant walk out the door with no compensation. ... They will trade him. It's just a matter of when."

Russell will receive a four-year, $117 million contract from the Warriors.

The Minnesota Timberwolves and Los Angeles Lakers also expressed interest in Russell.

"De'Angelo Russell does not fit there whatsoever. They just did not want to see Kevin Durant walk out the door with no compensation. ... They will trade him. It's just a matter of when." -

I suppose I get it from that standpoint.  would make a lot more sense in Minny and would seem to be preferable trading partner for GSW than the Lakers
