Source close to Kemba Walker told me that primary reason for the All-Star point guard choosing Boston was chance to go deep in playoffs — and play with talented guys like Tatum, Hayward and Jaylen Brown. Doesn’t feel as if he has to do it all by himself - which was case in CLT.
love it. We didn't have to beg for him to come. We didn't have to trade for a superstar. Lets do this..

The Kemba era now begins

HE WANTS TO BE IN BOSTON!!!! You cannot overemphasize this point. WTG Danny!!!! Seems like Cs actually told Kyrie he is not wanted back.

Awesome. Can't wait to see what happens with the bigs situation. Hopefully we get Horford and Rozier to play along with the S&T scenarios so that we have more ammo to throw at a big.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Kemba is a great addition to this team. Kyrie leaving is addition by subtraction and adding Kemba this team has a real shot at 50+ wins.

On the court, Kemba's going to be great in Brad Steven's system (although Brad has to look into his offense and adding counters to his sets/plays because it's now become an obvious trend that his teams suffer from prolonged droughts because defenses are trapping the ball handler and clogging the paint). Off the court, I've heard nothing but great things.

Instead of the "underachieving" team with high expectations of last year, this'll be an "overachieving" team with low expectations.

No - Kemba ain't Durant or LeBron...but he IS a bonafide STAR.

We can banish the "Stars don't come to Boston", label.

This speaks VOLUMES of our young roster, the belief that GH will return to form (and he WILL), the Coaching here AND Danny's ability to WORK....

We will probably lose two Stars...could've been a devastating Summer. But instead we WILL be competing.

No sunset in BOS...but a SUNRISE.

Awesome let the Kemba era begin.

(And, as important, let the Kyrie and Rozier era end)

Is that like when someone starts to breakup with you and you claim you were gonna break up with them first?

I'm getting cautiously optimistic about next season.

I am getting there too....

Cautiously optimistic. We just need to see how the big rotation shakes out, especially if we're theoretically using Gordon Hayward as a 4.
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

Yea I don't like Hayward at the 4 but he could start there and once rotations begin go back to a wing.

I stand by my post, it does not appear Danny was bringing Kyrie back. He is a malcontent.

Psyched - and someone should remember to tell Kyrie that Kemba won't be getting trapped a whole lot moving forward.
