@AndrewDoxy

Woj said later on SportsCenter: "Barring an unforeseen change, Kemba Walker is going to leave Charlotte. He's going to head to Boston"

Very strong wording

Lakers fans be like "wow that's not fair how come Boston gets everyone smh"  ;D

IKR! It is what it is.  :D

Woj doesn't break Cs news, I'll wait til I see it.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Kemba, Please pick #11. Maybe he gets the number retired in the rafters that way.

I'm fine with Kemba or Kyrie, that will mean Brown is most likely gone(for value) so i don't need to listen to his big talks which never convey or watch him get barked or pushed by his teammates on court

No.  He is done in terms of helping teams.

Well regardless I am not excited about this move at all.

I feel like we're replacing Kyrie with a slightly less talented Kyrie... And we know how how last year went.

What direction are they taking this team? I have no idea. The Jays are still going to be behind a dominant point guard.

I'll save any further judgement for how we do next year and how the roster actually fills out.

You aren't accounting for growth. I don't just mean how people mature with age, I think the guys who remain will grow from last seasons experience. Your judgement is based only of how you think Kyrie didn't fit while ignoring all the other factors that could be different next season like a better Hayward, player growth, better mix of players and attitudes that mesh, more guys willing to let others shine while they do the dirty work, growth from the coaches and any number of changes to other teams. Things aren't static, what didn't work with Kyrie has nothing to do with Kemba!

If this does go down, I'm really curious to see how much different the offense operates next season versus what we just saw.

I'm not enamored with the idea of Kemba, in particular, but I do like the opportunity of a "reload" rather than a "rebuild".

Mixed bag for me right now.

Give me Kemba, I can take that.

But need to get either Capela or Adams imo, a center that can allow Tatum, Smart, Brown and Kemba to all start together

or sign and trade for Kemba

Now if I can only talk NBAStore into exchanging my autographed Kyrie jersey for someone who isn't a Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.head. :D

Adams is out of reach, but Smart + Yabu + pick might get Capela.

I think a stop gap for one year, like DeWayne Dedmon, JaVale McGee, Ed Davis, Enes Kanter, DeAndre Jordan, Joakim Noah, Robin Lopez, etc would be fine. Sign them to a two year deal. Then go after a real long term solution at the trade deadline or next offseason with assets like our picks, the Memphis pick, the Milwaukee pick, our players drafted this year and salary filler like Smart, Yabu and the big we sign this year.

I don't think this "retool" will be a one year thing. I think it can be done over a couple years with looking to contend for real in 2020-21 or 2021-22.
