i was watching the knicks moves it seemed they signed about 7 players to two year contracts.    Thats not team building , thats just hiring players till the next group of stars becomes available ,  or KD and Kyrie blow up on the nets ......about two years is all i give them before they fall out

I heard they pretty much are all team options in the 2nd year.  That's much preferable to giving long term contracts to mediocre players.

Per Keith Pompey,

Talk about the new-look #Sixers:  @BenSimmons25 and @JoelEmbiid are the only two holdovers from the 2017-18 team that went 52-30 and advanced to second round of the playoffs.

That's pretty remarkable amount of player turnover for any team let alone a 52 win team in such a short time.

On the Kawhi front, told he’s not making a decision tonight and it may not be until the next few days. He and his reps are going through the process and taking their time before deciding the next move. No 2-year deals have been discussed.
