Bobby Marks talking about Celtics up next on ESPN2. Will be interesting to hear, as nothing else has come out about them over the last hour or so. He was tweeting about the sign and trade possiblities earlier.

Indiana has agreed to a free agent deal with Jeremy Lamb, league sources tell ESPN.

Good get by Indy. However, can Brogdon, Oladipo, and Lamb all play at once?
Yea definitely. Pg, sg, sf. How could they not?

  • Let's Go Celtics!
On an unrelated note, why would Kawhi not sign a short-term deal with Toronto? Milwaukee lost one of their best players. Boston will be worse. Philly might be worse, although Simmons and Embiid will get better. Durant is out for a year. Oladipo will need time.

They should reach the Finals again if he stays.
Interesting that Kawhi is taking his time.

With Green likely going to the Mavs, and the Lakers making no "rotation player" additions, it seems it might be good to place our money on Kawhi going to LAL.
Neither are the Clippers

Yeah, Clippers are still out there. Maybe they can lure Butler, sounds like Kawhi had some interest in teaming up with him.

When's Oladipo supposed to be back?  I'd heard on some podcast he might miss the season but that seemed to be an awfully long time to me.

3-team S&T appears dead.

Marks doesn't know who Horford's mystery team is, but feels confident that he has a team lined up.

No reason for them to play ball.

How does a Kemba for Rozier S&T work?  What are the other outgoing assets?

I'm going to defer to SL here.  It doesn't make a ton of sense to me as Marks is reporting it.

I guess Danny could S&T Rozier for an asset, then renounce the TPE and get whatever asset Charlotte was offering.  But a straight up double S&T doesn't add up.

Bobby Marks:

3-team S&T deal likely dead among Brooklyn, Boston, and Charlotte (unless they compensate Brooklyn, whcih they're not wanting to do yet). Though it was intimated that that could change if Al does give them indications that he would resign. Says that he doesn't think Al will be back in Boston.

Says right now it looks like a double S&T with just Boston and Charlotte - which I guess it means that we take the rest of Kemba's salary back in cap space? I'm not sure how that really works out.

He did say double S&T with Charlotte should happen

+1, love Dedmon, but that is stupid money for him.
