Who says no?

#14 and the Grizzlies pick owed to the Celtics for the #2.

Do you think another pick #22 is necessary to make the deal happen?

Memphis says no, for the same reason they wouldn't trade a dollar for two quarters.

No way do the Grizz move Morant to us unless we give them Tatum and their pick at least. Morant is a legit star prospect

No matter how many picks the Celtics offer the answer will be no from the grizzlies

Would need to include brown or tatum on that deal imo.

Brown/memphis 1st/#14 might do it.

Celtics say no to this.

Morant hasn't played a minute of pro ball yet. There's no way he's worth 2 lottery picks to the Celtics or anyone else for that matter.

The future Memphis pick is worth a lot. It could be an unprotected pick in 2021.

The Celts have done thorough pre-draft preparation this year. They'll get a rotation player at #14.

Why in the world would a team - which at this point can only sell hope to its fan base - give up a shot at a superstar for middling picks?  C'mon.

Brown or Tatum gets you that pick and you may still need to throw in a sweetener if you think Morant is the next big deal.

You might be able to land Ja Rule with that package but not Ja Morant.

I don’t think any asset Boston has short of Tatum even gets a dialogue started.

What if Memphis countered with an offer like this:

BOS sends: #51 pick
MEM sends: #2 pick, three future unprotected firsts

Equally realistic scenarios...

Danny is not going to offer all of that for Morant.  Morant is not that good of a prospect.

Have to put both Tatum & Jaylen on the table to get Memphis to make Ja Morant available.
