Who do you predict will be the 3rd star on the Lakers?

Assuming the Lakers add Davis - which seems inevitable, they'll still have cap space to go out and add a 3rd star to pair with leBron and Davis.  Who we guessing?  Jimmy Butler?  Kemba Walker?  Someone else?

A Big 3 of LeBron, Davis, and Butler is very dangerous.

The West will have their hands full dealing with them. Just add a free agent/ring-chasing PG and they are set.

Sad to say, they'll likely win a banner before the Celtics do at that rate.

I'm not assuming that. The only way the Lakers end up with Davis is if the teams with actually attractive assets don't bother making a serious offer.

I won't assume that's happening until it does.

The leaked rumor that butler would instantly sign with lakers or offered Max was one of more aggressive wordings of the season, so I guess butler

Well, given that I don't see the Lakers being able to obtain Davis, I think the question should be:

Who do you predict will be the 2nd star on the Lakers?

Answer: none unless one of their young guys turn into one. Reports are that no other stars show interest in joining the dumpster fire that is the Lakers.

Why did the Celts lose their nerve?  That's my major question right now.


As for the third star question, my guess would be Jimmy Butler or Kemba.
