Kyrie and AD to Clippers. Not sure how they'd pull it off, but if we're predicting rumors, does it matter?

- AD traded to C's.
- Kyrie resigns with C's.
- Kawhi resigns in Toronto
- Harris resigns in Philly
- Butler signs with Lakers
- Kemba resigns in Charlotte
- Klay resigns with GSW.

core concept - the massive amount of free agency movement talked to death by the media turns out to be a whole lot of nothing.

Of course the projections are hopeful (especially from a Cs standpoint), but I was coming on here to type exactly what you have above. I'll add KD to the Knicks for a 4-yr max and I'm also about 50/50 on Kawhi TOR/LAC.
I should have included my thoughts on KD.
-KD resigns with GSW.   This would have been a different prediction had he not been injured but I think his best option is to opt into his final year since he won't be playing next year.  can't see another franchise willing to pay him max money for a full year with no return on the investment.
I think KD staying in GSW solidifies Kyrie's return to Boston.  The AD trade only happens if Danny gets a commitment from Kyrie to resign after the trade goes through (and AD agrees to seriously consider resigning with Boston if he comes here.)

AD to Celtics
Kyrie to Nets
Durant opts in or re-signs in GSW
Chris Paul traded to Lakers
Butler to Knicks
Kemba to Knicks
Harris stays in Philly
Someone unexpected gets moved to Houston.
just curious why you thijnk Danny would trade for AD with Kyrie leaving.  without Kyrie, what would motivate AD to resign here?

Not sure why NO would want demar derozan. He does not fit with Zion at all.

A big contract he is as well.
Ingram may never be medically cleqred to play again.

Not sure why sas would trade their leading scorer for the number 7 pick in a 2 player draft and Kuzma.

NO's ask in a trade supposedly is an all-star, a young player with all-star potential, and at least 2 firsts so Derozan seems to be the type of "All-star" that would make sense in this situation.  You have to think they'll prioritize the young assets, but take a Derozan-type to keep the product on the floor watchable while they develop.

I like it and think this could very well occur. Though I do think Kyrie and AD are a package deal at this point, and we may only get Kyrie on a 1 + 1 deal that gives him flexibility this summer if the new team also doesn’t gel, though KD’s injury shows how risky something like that is.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

I get that it matches the rumored want my their management

I just dont see the fit.

Demar is very ball dominate and cannot space the floor-bad fit with both jrue and zion.

Ingram may never get medical clearance to play again...like Bosh

Not sure why the spurs make the deal.

I think the amount of player movement the media has pretty much promised..... is a sham!

Watch nobody but a Tobias Harris move. AD to Boston. I'd also predict Jaylen stays and we move Hayward and the Memphis pick for Beal. All after resigning Irving.

SAS supposedly wants to trade Derozan so they can sign Bogdanovich.

All anyone can do is guess, but the OP was probably trying to find a good veteran player to meet Griffin's supposed AD demands.

Ultimately, Griffin will be fortunate to get one good pick and one good young player. Even superstars like AD won't fetch the king's ransom they're asking when he has only one year left. If AD had 3 years on his deal, then a high 1st, a good vet, and a Tatum-like young player would be reasonable, but under the circumstances and unless he's going to his preferred LA destination, it doesn't make sense for most potential trade partners.

Even with all that, anything the proposed LAL trade for AD seems pretty underwhelming.

IMO, Jimmy Butler is leaving Philly the minute he can, and Philly will overpay to keep Harris.

Washington isn't trading Beal for Hayward.

I don't believe Danny will sacrifice Tatum under those circumstances. He can't give up our best prospect in 20 years to gamble on 2 one-year contracts.

I know it can't be official, but can't Ainge talk to Irving about the offer they'll give him so Ainge can get a yes or a no if he's staying? So much of the draft and the trading of picks and players revolves around who signs where. Free agency is really backwards as it should be before the draft.
