I wonder if the AD trade rumors messed up our team chemistry and morale as well, especially with The up and downs that tatum brown and rozier had

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2839902-rajon-rondo-unplugged

ndo, talking to Ric Bucher of Bleacher Report, said that the rumors disrupted the mentality of his teammates.

"It wasn't so much in your face, with eight different blockbuster or proposed trades and your name in every one of them. Every Instagram scroll, you're in it. So, psychologically, it probably took a toll...Guys may have felt like, 'Oh, I need to prove myself so I won't be traded' or 'They're going to trade me anyway.' Each game you didn't know what the mentality was for those guys: 'Should I give my all to this organization that is about to trade me in two days?'"

Rondo added that the trade rumors even affected veterans on the team.

"Even some of the old guys were affected. I can't say a name, but I remember me and the guy were on the bench for the Atlanta game right before the [All-Star] break. The guy was cussing and talking bad about the situation during the game. I was like: 'Snap out of it. That Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. is over with. We'll get through it. As vets, we have to move forward and not focus on what the young guys are focusing on. Set an example.' It was a little crazy to see a vet distraught over that," said Rondo.

I’m using the 28th of January as the date AD requested his trade

Tatum stats pre-AD trade request:
16.2PPG - 6.2RPG - 1.8APG - 1SPG - 0.8BPG - 1.5TO - 2.1PF - 31.1MPG
.448FG% - .3813P% - .855FT%

After request:
14.9PPG - 5.8PPG - 2.6APG - 1.1SPG - 0.6BPG - 1.6TO - 2.2PF - 31MPG
.453FG% - .3543P% - .855FT%

So statistically the key difference is 3 point shooting, but I think the eye test indicated that Tatum’s passing improved towards the end of the very season, while his defence was considerably worse after the trade request.

I think it hurt our team too

There have been rumors the whole time they were here, so nope.   I think it could have affected Jayson's game some, through

1. Kyrie
2. The way we bumbled bringing Gordon back
3.  A lot of guys playing for their next contract

were the real reasons as I see it

alot of the same issues with players on Celtics . unhappy for one reason or another .

James brings a circus with him ,a huge entourage ,  a way of life , and it just does not fit with how your average human on a low to a a erage contract has to live and work.   He is huge pitb

You see this, and then you see Hart say he thought Lebron & Caldwell-Pope (Rich Paul client) were the only "untouchables" in the AD trade drama, and yeah, you can kind of tell Lebron's fingerprints are in almost all the drama that's been happening there for the past season. That's not to say LAL didn't have problems before that, but now they have even more.

Should also be noted that we've barely heard Lebron talk much about the team and the Lakers organization since the offseason started (besides when Magic just quit), as if he's just trying to "hide" and act like a victim in all this.

Is Lebron acting like a victim or is he just not a very good leader?  Leading on the court is not the same as leading in the locker room.  I don't know if Lebron has the characteristics to be a good leader but Rondo clearly doesn't think he had the mentorship.  Rondo's quote from the article.

Quote
"No one person can have it all," Rondo says. "Who did he respect coming in? Who were his vets that showed him the ropes on how to be a leader?

"That's why KG was so big for me. When things didn't go well in Boston, Kevin would be one of the first guys to call me and tell me, 'That was right today' or 'That was wrong today.' The biggest thing he taught me was that you can't pick and choose when you want to be a leader. You have to do it every day. ...

"I was fortunate, later, to have great leaders like KG and [coach] Doc Rivers. Sam Cassell came in; Eddie House, Keyon Dooling, PJ Brown. I took a little bit from all of them. ... I don't know who LeBron had his first couple of years as far as how to be a leader or what it takes. He might not be a vocal leader or deal with confrontation, but he's in the gym every day. He's leading that way."

deep down Bron has a good heart I think.  He has been terrible spoiled since it was apparent he was be a freak athlete.  My guess is he never had the word " NO" ever spoke to him from the age 14 on ,by anyone but his mother.  His world revolves around him , and everybody must do as Lebron wants 100% of the time.  The way he treated IT4 spoke volumes about his selfish nature.
