Kinda fun watching Bob's highlights. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ppN6RDsHXNM

Curious to know how much faith everyone has in him for next year.

Also, please don't bother with your "depends on if he deserves minutes" - obviously that is true but try to think in a vacuum.

I mean.... soooo many things factor into it. I’ll let you know July 1st when I can at least get an idea what the roster going to look like. What I can say is, he has the skill! I love his potential, but I just am not sure if his motor is right. Yeah he can turn up on the court, but idk if he strives to be the best. He has a personality that he can easily get complacent.

Considering how frankly poor Theis was post-ASB I was a bit disappointed Williams didn't get some of his minutes. He could have easily given us the 3PPG and 2RPG Theis gave us over that stretch.
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

I think Timelord’s body was not ready for a lot of minutes in the NBA. If you look how the kid moves around, it seemed like he was in pain half the time.

Couple that with his injuries during key moments of opportunity, and I would say one goal this summer should be just putting himself in a position to play every day and not have problems.

Huge mistake not using Williams against the Bucks. His interior defense would of helped.

He needs to develop a couple of moves with the ball. Can’t treat it like a hot potato every time he receives a pass. Showed he was capable in his brief summer league stint, want to see more this summer.

I still think that of anyone he is a clear candidate to be included in an Anthony Davis trade.

Plays above the rim. Grew up in Louisiana. High upside prospect to take a swing on. Seems like a no brainer to sweeten the pot.

I think the main reason that DA and others in the Celtics organization fought the nickname was that they felt it wouldn't do well in the New Orleans market.

Frankly I'm hoping for Robert to get a legitimate shot to carve out a roll for himself for the Pelicans but if he's still here then I see 5-12 minutes a game with the option for more if he plays well and works hard.

You know there's a problem when a kid who hasn't done anything gets a nickname. He'll never get minutes on a Stevens team. And he might ultimately be a very good player somewhere else. One wonders why Ainge drafted him. Maybe he still has visions of a rim protector.

Pre-draft I wrote threads clamoring to draft Mitchell Robinson. When RW3 fell to us, I felt that was cool, but am now dubious as to whether we drafted the right big. Too soon to say.
