There always seems to be at least one all-star player that surprisingly becomes available either during the offseason or the trade deadline. Any predictions on who that could be this offseason?

SG: Sidney Moncrief / World B. Free

There's a difference between surprise and pipe dream.

Kyle Lowery - I can see it
Karl Anthony Towns - Signed a 5 year extension that hasn't even kicked in yet.
Devin Booker - See KAT
Deanglo Russell - he's an FA
Chris Paul - I can see it
(Clint Capela) - not an All-Star, won't net an impressive enough return
(Steve Adams) - not an All-Star, could get something respectable for OKC
Paul George - Possibly, but the optics on it would be a complete disaster for Presti and OKC.

Most likely:

Bradley Beal - Get me out of here!

Mike Conley - The Memphis time is over.

Potential wild cards to discuss:

Joel Embiid - Butler leaves, Toby leaves. Davis doesn't go to LA. Embiid gets frustrated and takes the narrative to LAL.

Blake Griffin - stuck in Detroit and even more stuck with Casey's incompetence.

KAT/Wiggins - One of the two. They might move KAT because he'll get value back. No one will want Wiggins $

Jrue Holiday -  I'm good. No one around me except Randle is good. Get some pieces around Zion and send me somewhere I can win.

Randle -  I don't want to be here with Zion.

Zach Lavine - Man the Bulls stank!

Long shot:

Damian Lillard gets fed up with Portland continually coming up short. (Just to be clear. After this post season I think there is zero% chance of this happening.)

Chris Paul and Mike Conley might be only 2 if Kyrie leaves...
Memphis going get Morant so Conley may be traded..
Does Paul want out of Houston?? if he does then may see him ship out
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

Anybody who lists KAT. This isn't happening, stars dont get traded at the start of their extensions. I dont like to use the word literally in cases where it doesnt apply, that said there us literally no chance KAT is getting traded in the next couple years.

I can tell I’m going to have to break down everything I post with you. I put Steven Adams and Clint Capela in parenthesis for the exact reason you listed. D-Russell can still be sign and traded as yes he’s a free agent but he’s restricted. If they get Kyrie over there and he wants to play with AD or KD or whoever else  a sign and trade is an option. I’ve already explained KAT in another thread. Booker...sure cal it a pipe marine.

Isn't Time Lord suppose to be the next Clint Capela?

Deandre Jordan - He was an all star too and still have few years left on his prime

Demarcus Cousins - Probably a damaged goods with emotional baggage. But might be a worthy investment for the right price.

Might invest on buy-low potential all stars instead (Oladipo, IT, Vucevic, Milsap, Lowry, etc.)

Blake Griffin

Detroit are going nowhere and have little avenue to improve. Decide to blow things up and rebuild properly.

Both Jordan and Cousins are free agents so there is no surprise that they are available. Also, recent injuries and play probably explain why they might be available for a while this summer

Wonder if they'd go all out and ship Drummond too
