Celtics receiving the Bucks’ top-7 protected pick in next year’s draft, per league sources.
Good trade since that draft should be stronger.

I don’t know. It’s still probably around 28th next year. I would have rather had Little (and Baynes).

Well, let's hope they don't keep Khris Middleton and they drop a peg.

Eh I'd rather have Baynes.  Especially after losing Horford.  Our frontline is now nonexistent.

BRAD DONT CARE!

POSITION LES BALL BAW!

TIMELORD AT PG!
LET'S GO CELTICS!

Can confirm the Celtics have traded Aron Baynes to the Suns, per sources.
i do believe ainge is clearing out space to sign a max player in free agency. hence the dumping of the first rounder.

Yep, that's what it looks like to me. Otherwise, Baynes is a great guy to have in the lockerroom, especially for another big like Williams.

We are REALLY young at this point. And it looks pretty clear at this point that at the very least Mook is gone, along with probably Rozier (which I would be happy with).

What max player could we be targeting? Kemba isn’t worth it anymore with no Horford. DAR?
Wouldn't be opposed to Russell for his max. 23 and under age control. Need Nets to refuse his rights though.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

So they traded #20 to move down 13 slots, get rid of $6 Million worth of cap space and pick up an unprotected 1st rounder in 2020, a Giannis injury away from being a good pick.
Its top 7 protected in 2020.

Tp. Thanks. Any idea what it turns into if it’s too 7?

If it doesn't convey next year, it turns into a 2021 unprotected pick
I'm bitter.

Trade makes more sense now. Good salary dump.
Celtics cleared 8M in extra cap space w/ the combined PHI/PHX trades. I like it.

$6.2 million.  Can’t forget roster holds for having under 12 players.

I would be willing to bet 50 TP's that this isn't true...  But I trust Ainge so I hope you're right..

Clearing cap space - I suppose we can hope they have someone lined up.

Does it make any sense to dump Baynes if there isn’t someone lined up?
