Given the quality of this draft #24 in this draft is probably an early 2nd rounder in next year's draft. Not a horrible get for a future pick given it's #24 in this draft
And you never know what could happen to Milwaukee. What if Giannis gets injured for an extended period of time, and that pick comes in the 15-20 range?
2023 No Top 75 Fantasy Draft Los Angeles Clippers
PG: Dennis Johnson / Jo Jo White / Stephon Marbury
SG: Sidney Moncrief / World B. Free
SF: Chris Mullin / Ron Artest
PF: Detlef Schrempf / Tom Chambers / Buck Williams
C: Ben Wallace / Andrew Bynum

Can confirm the Celtics have traded Aron Baynes to the Suns, per sources.
i do believe ainge is clearing out space to sign a max player in free agency. hence the dumping of the first rounder.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

So they traded #20 to move down 13 slots, get rid of $6 Million worth of cap space and pick up an unprotected 1st rounder in 2020, a Giannis injury away from being a good pick.

I think it's pretty obvious that Ainge didn't feel that anyone after Williams was good enough to be a first round pick.

Despite the Williams pick, I'd be fine with Paschall at 33.  We do want to win a few games next year...
Those guys are both tough leadenly types...

Boston doing everything they have to to free up a max slot.

Going to use second round guys as some depth

Seems Rozier is not going to be back

Wow, so Suns are competing for a title? Wow....Hope he sent him there with some lube..wow...

IKR.

I hope Baynes had some say in this, otherwise, we did him dirty.

Unless of course, they will buyout Baynes and he's free to join a contender.

I watched a lot of Tennessee games last year, Williams is a stud. SEC Player of the Year. Lots of last minute game winning plays. He is tremendous.

Who cares if we maybe could have gotten him 10 picks later (maybe). We got him. He’s a WINNER!!!!!

I'm from the Knoxville area. I've watched nearly every college game Grant played.

Fantastic young man. But one who has very little chance to be a legit nba player, imo. He's not even 6'6, and yet he has a pure PF game, no ability to play on the perimeter, can't defend the perimeter.

Flabbergasted at what Ainge has done tonight. Just...puke.

Celts could have had the Virginia PG, Little and Clarke.

We love Grant Williams down here in Knoxville, but he ain't an NBA player.
