I can't seem to find the answer to this online, and even some of the reports I've read that have talked about the C's possibly extending him in a few years seem to be posting different numbers (so many mixed results).
I know Kyrie has one year left on his deal AFTER this season,
but I'm also guessing Ainge views Kyrie as our "PG of the future" (I mean... he gave up A TON to get him and he seems to view him highly),
so Ainge will probably look to extend him once his contract is up.Now obviously there's the question of whether, after his contract is up, Kyrie wants to stay here in Boston, or will he bolt elsewhere,
but that's a whole different matter. Lets just assume in this case both sides are willing to work an extension and Kyrie wants to stay.
1. Do we still retain Kyrie's Bird Rights? (I think we do, but not sure)
2. What would a potential extension look like in terms of years and $$$?
I've read and heard Kyrie actually left quite a bit of money on the table to leave CLE and join Boston

, but some reports I've read say Boston can still offer him like 5 years/231M, but another I read said it's more like 5 years/179M, and another said 4 years/179M (sort of like John Wall)... and some say other figures
So does anyone on here (paging @saltlover) know this? Thanks guys!
