I'm going to start screaming it from the rooftops, but the way he kind of glides in the air at his sleight frame reminds me of George Gervin. Obviously not nearly as advanced at scoring floaters as the ice man, but he reminds me of him.

On the last highlight (Tatum's open lane dunk), watch Baynes seal off the help defender. I get that defensive effort in preseason games is lacking sometimes but that's good basketball on Baynes part.

If he scores like Carmelo and plays even just average defense, I would be perfectly fine with that.

And no, I'm not saying he'll be an average or elite defender his rookie season, he'll obviously go through the learning curves, but I'm talking about long term.

Since Tatum is most likely KOs replacement from last year here is KOs stat from the Heat 3rd preseason game. 27 minutes, 2pts, 1 for 7 shooting, 0-3 from 3pt, 4 turnovers.  He did have 7 rebounds and 4 assists, but I just want to point out the inconsistancy.  I am Hoping Tatum can be a more steady contributor each night, wether starting or coming off the bench.
