I really believe that Gordon Hayward starts at two guard this year. He can handle the ball, he can shoot and he can make plays on and off the ball. I also think that being over looked is what an excellent defender Hayward is. Barring moves I see a very big quick Celtics team were everyone on the floor can shoot and pass like those old 80s Celtics squads.

Great starting 5 and definite contender....
Hayward is a fairly big small forward. He's a plus defender at that spot, but there are a lot of two guards he won't be able to keep up with, including the one we just sent to Detroit.
I would want Jaylen to start at the two. He's quick enough, and starting him will accelerate his development.
I think most are on correct page. IT, AH, GH (at what position) are locks. So then it's what's best for team. To me I want Smart off the bench as the leader. That gives you GH at shooting guard or JB. IF GH goes there then its a small forward choice of Jae, Brown at small forward. If JB at sg then its GH at sf. He's one of our 3 lock players but a swing guy so it depends on what brad sees as best for team. One important thing with a big no knock on Avery is our backcourt no matter what gets bigger. IT starts and he has GH, JB or MS starting next to him.
