Who is realistically going to give a better deal than the Cs with Bradley/Crowder/Memphis pick/LAC pick?

Not who can do it, but who realistically would? I'm having a hard time coming up with a lot of candidates.

Otto Porter in a S&T with a protected pick could be our competition.

We win that one.

I know there's A LOT that stands between us and PG13, but I don't think overwhelming trade competition is one of them.

Otto Porter has to agree to the S&T or the Pacers can forget it.

Maybe Otto Porter gets a better offer from some other team. That's another thing to watch this weekend.  We should hope another team comes in with an offer. What if Miami doesn't feel good about the Hayward visit, they could offer Porter a better setting in Miami.

HAHAHA so Indiana is asking for Nets Pick, Lakers Pick, and 1-2 starters from us.

And yet they are "okay" with doing a sign and trade for Otto Porter?? Unbelievable.

We need a verbal commitment on an extension. Then, I'd give up the Lakers pick.

If PG is really being viewed as a rental, BE STINGY.

He either signs an extension, or be gone with his head.

"Hi I am Kevin Pritchard and if you want Paul George, I want a Brooklyn 2018 pick and a Lakers pick along with two of your starters. I have zero guarantees that Paul George wants to sign an extension, but he did say he wanted to play for the Lakers the following year. I want some talents and assets back for this man before he walks."

Sounds like Pritchard is being greedy than Ainge is being stingy lol. Btw I made that up but I am guessing that is how the discussion went  ;D No guarantees of signing an extension but a one-year rental? I am not giving up two valuable assets for him. Paul George can walk away from Indy and go to his Lakers, or Pritchard can trade him elsewhere for a couple of nobodies because he does not want to deal with Ainge.

I'm banking executives aren't spiteful.

Without the BKL or LA pick, we still offer the most.

Avery is a legit starter and the mind of player to start a rebuild around.

George is off the table.  He's been traded to OKC.

I'm fine with it.  It never made sense to give up a lot for a guy who's made it clear that he wants to go to L.A..
