He hasn't shown me anything offensively in the post. I can get over the lack of bounce/athleticism but all the film I've seen and no legit turn around jumper......

He's still young but what I do like is he has legit size and length....not the gold standard for length at 7'3'' wingspan and 9'3'' standing reach

7'5'' wingspan and 9'5'' standing reach= gold standard

Why do people keep thinking that Nader and Yabusele will ever be NBA players? Nader will be 24 before next season starts and hasn't played a single NBA minute yet.

I view Nader and Yabu as potential role players. Nader has the perfect 3-D profile. .Yabu has a very intriguing physical profile and offensive set of skills. Though compete opposites in term of physical profiles Yabu may fit a similar offense off the bench niche as KO.

Zizic looks to be a solid old school starting 5. His ability to defend the P&R will dictate his early court time. I suspect he earns a solid 15-20 min off the bench next season and provide much needed toughness and rebounding in the paint.
The three has always been the weakest part of Nader's offensive game. He came out of college shooting in the 200s. Seems to have improved a bit, but I'm not sure that he will ever be "3 specialist". As for the "D specialist"... didn't he come with a question mark about whether he even has enough footspeed to defend SFs at all? My best case scenario for him is a Ryan Gomes type... not particularly optimistic about players whose only claim to fame is tearing up lower tier leagues offensively. It's not something that necessarily translates well.

Mickey was supposed to be the guy to solve our front court problems after dominating the dleague....

How has that worked out?

The quality is pretty low there to be able to make any useful conclusions and yet here people are already count on nader and yab to get any significant production.

By the standards around here, should Zizic be classified as a "dinosaur"?
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

nader jacked a lot of threes and was shooting around 40% most of the year-the guy has a 7-1.5 wingspan and he is as adept with left hand-the guy takes what is given and  can close with either hand, has a high release on 3 pointers
-he could wind up a decent bench player-he can do so much more than young-
he went to ncaa's,he made portmouth tournament all star, did well a summer league, was rated top 10 in d league and d league rookie of year-he has legitimate height, length, weight ,vertical and his shot has improved every year-turnover prone playing point forward,3 point % tailed off at end of season, one of the starsl at d league showcase
he is like a dwight powell type-
summer leaque should be thrilling this year-

posting from bed isn't easy to do caps ,i'm only have one hand hold the computer with and one to type.
my basketball experience under rollie massimino was way ahead of it time and he is still at it.wherever he goes he is a winner

nader shot 37.1% his senior year-not bad

ranked number two in rising stars behind donic---we got quite a haul of stashes including nader rookie of year d league and yabusele and the nets pic

Apart from the fact that the title and the tread itself say nothing, can you tell me why you do not write using capital letters? Ante Zizic, DonCic, Yabusele, Nader, Nets.  :(

I believe rollie is only able to type with one hand because of health issues. It takes a little getting used to, but there is insight in many of his responses.

You are right about the title, though - probably could be a little more descriptive. Sorry, Rollie  ;)

Sorry for that. Not asking anymore about upper case, but keeping my opinion about the title and thread. Get well, rollie  :)

Νο he is pretty agile... At least for the euro league standards. But in any case he is nothing like valanciunas for example

came out of college shooting 37.1% on threes-a big jump shot 34.9% for red claws tailed off at end of season for most of season was about 40%

idk...havent seen him use any agility to score using a legit post move,,,not a dunk or putback. He truly needs to get better in the post. If he could just show a fluid turn around jumper then I'd have more hope for his ceiling.

Besides that does anyone else notice he barely gets 3'' off the ground?

Please check out number 10 in below video. He dunks over Anthony Randolph so he can elevate enough, and also he is not that bad in agility department. But how he will fare in NBA quickness, that is another question.

You do know the gold standard is very rare right? I'd take Zizic's measurements because he can also play
Jaylen Brown for All-NBA
