  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Not sure what draft sites would have Ball as the 3rd best prospect in the year he becomes eligible, but I would instantly stop visiting those sites. Clearly, they have no credibility.

NBA Draft.net.

A very reputable draft site.

Please share with us why they have no credibility.

They didn't do the legwork like DraftExpress did. Poor quality scouting, really bad comps, not a good track record with the actual draft, very little insider access.

NBADraft.net is a website that will always be in my heart but it's not exactly the New York Times.

Although based on the thread title Jonathan Givony, who ran Draft Express prior to going to ESPN, has him at 3, so I’m not sure about this comment (even tho it’s replying to something 3 months old).

It’s me mourning DX because there isn’t another site like it with the resources man power and talent to do what they did.

He currently plays for the Illawarra Hawks of the NBL. Not sure if he'll stick around for the whole season, but he's down here.

SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

There is, you just have to pay ESPN for it (and hope that the ESPN-hype editors aren’t putting their fingers on the scale too much).  But as I don’t pay ESPN, I too mourn it.

Being considered a top 3 pick in the upcoming draft is nothing to be proud of. Anthony Bennett would be a top 3 pick in this draft.
I'm sure there will be an Oladipo in there somewhere but other than that it's bleh.
2021 is going to be the shett!

Always difficult to predict drafts, but 2021 is worth getting excited about.

I've been chirping about how bad the 2020 draft is and how good the 2021 will be for a while now so I'm going to stick to it but you're absolutely right. Some of these kids could blow up, in a good way. Look at Jaxson Hayes (not that there's a guarantee he'll be good). He wasn't on ANYONE's radar. Then Fran Fraschilla comes out after watching Texas practice and starts to hype up this kid to the point where I asked what Fran is smoking. He was right as far as how far up the ladder Hayes climbed.

Jeff Goodman also talked him up pretty early on.

Yep. People bagged on JBs draft year but I think it's looking as deep and maybe deeper than the much hyped Tatum draft year (still hoping fultz finds his way).
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Yeah, kind of hoping the Memphis pick doesn't transfer this year....

The draft can always change as the year goes on. There looks to be some high-end athletes in 2020 and maybe some of them will show some major improvements over the course of the season.  Some interesting players:

Scottie Lewis

Theo Maledon

Cole Anthony

Neemias Queta

Amar Sylla

Jalen Smith

Killian Hayes

N'Faly Dante

Yes, Josh Green too! I forgot to put him on my list. He's a very interesting player but the down side is, isn't he going to play in Australian league?

I'm gonna pass on big baller brand.

Unless Lamelo falls to the #10 pick and the Memphis pick conveys this year at pick 10.  I don't see us dealing with the media circus.
