If you read the title, it seems Magic Johnson wants to negociate something with us.

Also, Olynyk and Jerebko are (can't be) no trade targets. They are free agents.

Please, be careful with the thread titles so as not to mislead people.
My first thought was the Orlando Magic, although JJ and KO are free agents they can go to the Magic in a sign and trade so technically the title is not wrong

Technically, it's wrong. They are not "targeted" as trade options where two teams need to reach an agreement, but as free agents. Getting them into a sign and trade for salary cap purposes (well, Orlando is not in trouble at all) would be another thing.

KO technically can be a trade target since he's a RFA and the Celtics have the right to match any deal he signs.  Therefore a S&T could be done....

Again, first you sign the player. So there is nothing to negociate with the Celtics unless Orlando is so generous to give us assets when they don't have to. They are not over the cap.

Let's talk about Jerebko now  ;D

So because you misinterpreted the thread title, you make a post criticizing the OP?  Seriously get a life, this pettiness is why I haven't been on here much anymore.

If he misinterpreted the thread title, it's most likely because it was vaguely written, as well as being factually incorrect (which Dario has pointed out).  The only 'pettiness' I see here resides solely in your post.

This is hilarious. I wonder who's on DA's list. Man, how does one apply for a job in the Celtics? 😁

Depends which department you wanna target:

I'd probably hit up Austin as a first port of call.

Can do better job than Danny Ainge, will make Boston Celtics great again in no time! Every GM will accept my trade proposals and I will get 100% draft hits.

Haha. TP.

The big boss just called for an unexpected department-wide meeting tomorrow, so yeah... anyone know the answer?

Haha, TP salt, to assuage any feelings of impending doom. The curative properties of those little suckers(TPs) is amazing.

And, for what it's worth, my $$$'s on you to come out unscathed or even better off. Good luck.

Considering all the rumors we've heard in like the last 2-2.5 years, it wouldn't surprise me if the Celtics had like 5 fully written boards with "targets" and random trade ideas

I think Ainge could take Magic Johnson to the cleaners in trades.

Is the strangest thing of this entire whiteboard that Ibaka is on there?  I mean, talk about a long-game approach to the original trade with OKC, the the subsequent one with TOR, and this future one.  Like, they really wanted Ibaka and Ross but couldn't figure out a way to pull that off without this convoluted Magic scenario?  SMH.

Are the Magic smart enough to make a prank out of this? After all, it is just after April fool's.
