Isaiah Thomas is the East's Player of the Month for January. Thomas is first Celtics player to win award since Paul Pierce in March 2012. Thomas is only the fourth player in team history to earn the award (Pierce, Walker, Bird). It's only the 13th time that a Boston player has earned honor since 1979.

Just re-watched a series of IT's 4th courter highlights, the guy is unreal, he's at Stephen Curry level from December to January.

Great IT -- well-deserved.

Can someone help me understand something:  IT new moniker has become "King in the 4th".  Is  there is something in popular culture that I am unaware of (I am unaware of many things in popular culture) that explains why it is King IN the 4th rather than King OF the 4th -- which to me makes more sense.  Please explain.

it's a game of thrones reference, in that tv show they have a thing called "king of the north", last year the raptors started to use a slogan "we the north", which is also from game of thrones, I guess we are referring to both the show and taking a jab at the raptors.
