There is a lot of Jimmy Butler talk flying around. I like Jimmy Butler. He is a great player. He is better than Jae Crowder simply put. How much better? Is he Brooklyn Pick better? is he Avery Bradley and Brooklyn pick better? Does the amount of better let us beat the Cavs in a 7 game series? I propose we don't give up the farm for Jimmy Butler. Is he worth the price they are going to ask? maybe. But I don't think we have such a glaring need for a better swing. I believe that Jae Crowder and Avery Bradley side by side could be two starters on championship team. This team is ONE big man superstar away from competing with the Cavs. We have the depth, we have 4 out of 5 starters required. No knock on Amir Johnson, I love his heart. We need DMC. Settling for Butler will ultimately set us back, unless somehow Ainge fleeces Chicago. The only type of deal I could live with would be like:
