1. Is he technically allowed to play for us this season? I know that China's season roughly ends at the end of February (including playoffs), but does he need clearance from his Shanghai team (much like Shavlik Randolph and Terrance Williams did back in 2013)?
2. If Danny did decide to bring him over in March, how does his cap hold ($1,573,000) affect our current cap situation? Basketball Insiders notes that we are technically over the cap, but that we can get to $1.1 million if needed.
At this point, I highly doubt Danny is going to burn a year of Yabusele's rookie deal for two months plus of games, but I would love to see him get some time at the 4 spot. He's averaging 8.5 boards a game in 29 minutes of action and is shooting 51/38/68 on the year in 25 games. I know that he's not quite the defender or help defender Amir is, but he pretty much does everything else better. More and more it is looking like we'll stand pat at the deadline, so why not bring over someone we already have the rights to (if we can).
