It's not really rocket surgery why he's not getting minutes.  He's bottom 4 on the team in Per-36 along with James Young, Gerald Green and Jordan Mickey.  He doesn't really deserve minutes right now.  He's not good yet.  He barely does anything when he's on the court.


I disagree. I see many positive things that Jaylen is already bringing to the court in limited minutes.
every player brings some positive things.  They are all pro basketball players.  Comparatively to the rest of the team, Jaylen is basically just wasting space out there right now.  Someday he can be good, but that day isn't today.

If he was a lockdown defender it would be a different story, but he's struggling defensively as well.  His lack of production mixed with his mediocre defense is not a recipe for minutes right now.

He got plenty of minutes with Jae out.   We got a good look at him.  He wasn't producing.  Give him time.  A few years from now he can be a really good player.
