pre season is too long, regular season with crazy schedules and back to backs with the grind of playing pace and space -
add in intense defense,-its like a torture chamber
then the playoffs and playoff basketball-tough and dirty and too long
its going to be difficult holding any team together that plays with grit on both ends of court
enough is enough
avery, kelly, smart, isaiah and now horford-its worse than football
it gets difficult to invest emotionally when teams get torn apart by so many injuries
-i almost don't want to watch tonight

Horford got hit in the head. Had nothing to do with wear and tear.

Not matter what the schedule is, guys will get hurt. Play only 5 games and there will be far less injuries because there will be less games. That doesn't mean that the injuries per game will go down.

I do agree that the current season may not give guys enough chances to heal. Still, no matter the schedule, gut will get hurt. Heck, you have guys who get hurt doing day to day stuff.

Smart is a very poor example. He sprained his ankle in the first couple of weeks. That happens.

They get paid handsomely for their troubles.  And fans want to see the product.  No issues.
