It would be pretty cool to take all the Gm's int he last 10 years and rank their picks based on (team win share), (individual stats) and (draft position) and rank them all.

Yeah, it'd be interesting. You could include individual WS, RPM, PER, etc. and individual stats more specific to efficiency and role (TS%, USG%).  Definitely not a perfect science, but it'd be fun to see the results.  Biggest issue would be how to weigh each variable -- which are most important?

he is learning how to use his speed and can really shoot
rozier, jaylen and green have upgraded celts speed
roxzier and green more than make up for loss of turner-
the rozier and marcus duo will frighten opposing 2nd teams guards

you knew that horford was going to make everyone better that, green was a leaper and scorer
but roziers shot from three ,his pull ups and his getting into the paint
i know its pre season but what he is doing translates
i am impressed , shocked and mesmerized by his rapid growth
he is going to be better than kris dunn-he can shoot

I like Dunn a lot, and I think he's going to silence all the haters pretty quickly - but regardless, this certainly isn't out of the question.

I've felt that Rozier has borderline All-Star potential from the moment we drafted him.  The kid has all the tools to be something special, just a matter of seeing if he will realise that potential.

I think Dunn's overall potential is probably a little higher, but both have the chance to be special players.

and where has ainge bombed so dramatically in the drafting of "bigs"? if you wish to make a sweeping assertion, it would be best to support it please.

Fab Melo  is  proof enough.   Some of the other bigs he picked had major flaws like Sullinger.   Guys generally know the position they played the best.   Ainge was not a big man.  He knows this and sticks to guys who handle the ball.

You really can't be down on Danny for drafting Sullinger.  A #21 pick is lucky to make an NBA rotation - Sullinger has been highly productive as a starter and 6th man on playoff teams.  For all his flaws he's still produced leaps and bounds beyond his draft position.

Even Olynyk - for a #13 draft pick in one of the weakest drafts in history, he's pretty talented.   There aren't many players take after #13 who are as good as he is, or who have as much potential as he does.

Those guys aren't exactly stars, but both were good draft selections given their position.

Al Jefferson was taken drafted by Ainge too, wasn't he?  If so you certainly can't complain about that pick.

Rozier looks like a player getting ready to explode into a starting PG. Strong, long, decent size for a point. I like how he pushers the ball, still learning about spacing, but great potential as a scorer. His passing ability will grow, he'll never be Paul or Rondo, but he'll be fine in the world of todays NBA scoring PG.

If I were considering a trade with the C's, he'd be on my list of players included in the trade. I can't believe the 76ers aren't high of him.

More seasoning, and reputations running plays, and next year we're gonna have a situation where IT looks tradable.
