KG Is the reason I fell in love with Celtics basketball. I started watching nba right around the year before he got traded to Boston. when he did get moved just watching that fire he brought to the team still gives me chills to this day. KG LEGEND

thats why I love players like smart, Crowder, they have some KG in them.

Good lord let the man retire .   He is old enough to be Jayen Browns father.

I wouldn't call it depressing - based on what I saw last season all KG can really do anymore is play halfcourt defense and dunk on Blake Griffin.  If it happens it's a good time for it.

It's probably time for him to hang it up.

Tough to see it happens but Father Time remains undefeated.

That 2012 Playoffs KG was VINTAGE.

He came up SO BIG for us several times in those playoffs....almost taking us pass MIA as well.

Certainly not depressed, here. I have way too many great memories of him in Green....his block on Lamar Odom way back at end of 2007 in LA that in turn sent him into a frenzy where he took out his frustrations on Ray Allen...

We pummeled LA in that game...LOVED IT.

His put back dunk on Pau

Love that Posey defense on Kobe....nice and physical (that will be Jaylen Brown and Marcus for us, now)

His play in MIA in the ECF in 2012

KG's ENDLESS antics...."Boo Boo"

I'm guessing that it was the 2012 KG that convinced a certain Billy King to dance with Danny.....and to this day I don't blame King.

THANK YOU KG!!! Give those keys to Big Towns, now.

It would be more depressing to see KG return.

agree.

he moves like a 75 year-old and doesn't even bother to jump for rebounds, hasn't for years. The knee injuries i think were even worse than we thought.

No shame in moving tot he next phase of his life, he will always be revered here.
