If he goes off for like 22/10/5 and shows that he is a future star, then wonderful. Otherwise we will likely lose a decent asset for nothing.
I don't think a guy who shoots a layup like 10-year old can average 22 in the NBA, but that's just me.

What happened to the bounce being real??  :P
I have no problem if he throws down everything. But going up with one hand is just... ugly.  ::)

My post was a bit contrarian. When we signed Horford I was and still remain as excited as anyone. Just wanted to give another voice to the other side which I do think has some valid concerns.

Just to clarify...

I agree with Evantime that Horford's defense is completely elite and will turn us into the type of team that can grind out games like the KG Celtics could.

Agree with Guava Wrench that the signing was by far the best move for this team given our options. My issue is not with the money or years, I just think it's it's fair to say that adding Horford to a team that is maxed out in its scoring potential would be more impactful than signing him to our team of overachievers.

Overall though I'd sign Horford 10 times out of 10 and Jaylen could make all the points I mentioned moot if he turns into the real deal. Can't wait to see this team play. ECF we're coming for ya!
