Don't set your hopes too high.  Second rounders are mostly throw away picks.  Unless they really impress, these guys will be in Europe before you know it.  Simply do not have the room.
true. very few of them make it to the nba. but ainge has a nice batting average with second round picks. so, we shall see.  :)
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

What is his batting average with second round picks?

What is his batting average with 1st round picks?

Can you be a better 2nd round picker than a 1st round picker? Is that because you're smart or lucky?

Weird to see so many people giddy to give up on Rozier. He was a silver lining in the playoffs and looks like he has a shot at being a good player. I think Jackson and Rozier have completely different games. Rozier looks like a better shooter, shot creator and marginally better than Jackson at passing right now. Jackson looks better at getting to the hole. Both look like good on the ball defenders.

PS: I'm not a Jackson hater. I actually wanted us to take him at 16 but I'm glad we didn't have to!

Ive watched a decent amount of Jackson. As far as athleticism is concerned they are really similar, Rozier is probably a bit more explosive, but Id give Jackson the edge in terms of the handle. Both can be good defenders but Terrys better right now.

Shooting is where I have to disagree with you. Demetrius is a terrific shooter. This year, Notre Dame, for some reason decided to just not play offense. Often times youd see them dribbling out the shot clock to 8 or 9 seconds before initiating anything. Furthermore demetrius was the only guy on the team who could create his own shot so many possessions ended with Demetrius in isolation with 5 seconds left on the shot clock resulting in a lot of tough pull up 3s. He still shot 33%.

Now last year, when he played with Jerian grant, he played off ball and did a terrific job. He shot 40+ % for 2 years.

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
I like both these guy and would have been happy if we drafted them at 31 and 35.

Not sure if they both get a chance to join the rotation, but the point of having multiple picks is to get more attempts at getting a good player. These guys seem as likely as any other second round pick to make a difference.

People are going to love Jackson's defense, athleticism and shot. Bentil has the ability to knock down pick and pop 3's that are often wide open for our bigs in the Celtics offense.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Don't know much about either of these two but what I have seen I really like. Bentil really seems to have a great passion to play and Jackson has looked good in the couple of college games I had seen him in.
This draft let's the C's be more critical of what they have and forces some decisions on the roster....and it's always good to have options.

His handles, shooting, and finishing are all better than Rozier. He's probably a better leaper too. Rozier has more defensive upside, is quicker, and has an advantage in the passing area. In a world where Smart is starting to look more and more like a combo guard rather than a traditional point, Jackson would make a nice compliment. He played next to Grant for 2 years and has experience playing off the ball, is a solid defender at the 1, and he can create his own shot.
